The unit of measurement used in the construction of Angkor Wat was the “hat,” equivalent to the measurement of a cubit, just over 40 cm<\/strong>. What is truly remarkable is that the length of the outer walls is 12 times 365 hat, which coincides with a solar year divided into its corresponding months. Even more interesting is that by drawing a circle originating from the center of Angkor that passes through the four corners of the walls, it would measure 24 times 365 hat. In this case, it coincides with a lunar year for its two cycles.
